If a tree falls and there is no one around....

So, after the rainy weekend that caused the cabin fever....I opened the blinds and noticed to my surprise, there was an enormous tree in our backyard! We had been watching that dead tree since we moved in. It grew in our neighbor's yard but leaned heavily into ours - each windstorm we would stare at it and wonder...would it claim the playground equipment, the deck, obviously the fence...
Somehow, in the two days I kept the blinds pulled, it managed to snap off about 25 feet off the ground, drop smartly within the confines of the backyard, missing all 3 things we thought were goners!
